I visited Southern California in 1998 and they already had them. I do not know if they are compatible with modern electric vehicles.

Then I guess world famous cities like NY, London, Italy, and Paris where people take mass transit, are in third world countries. Great logic.

I wish there would be some in southeast, most notably my hometown of Charlotte. But that's hot that some charging stations are coming.
