so far I like old city halls in Dallas and New Orleans more than I like the new ones.

Oh yeah, I remember hearing about that. In the movie it was downtown LA, but in real life it was in Downtown Orlando and they actually blew it up since it was set for demolition anyways.

Los Angeles still has its city hall in the pretty 1928 art deco building that is 32 floors (453 feet). I'm glad its one old (by Western standards) thing Los Angeles has kept in great condition. I would like to see it stay there rather than something modern like that Dallas city hall (which is ugly IMO).
