I think California seems like a very interesting state, I haven't been there yet, but I'd like to visit sometime.
On topic, the favorite states I have been to were Virginia, Michigan(northern part), Pennsylvania, Florida, and New Jersey (the part I went to was nothing like the stereotypes)
After my beloved Wisconsin I would choose Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa, and parts of Illinois. Can you tell I love the Midwest? I have visted most states and there are things I like about most of them. But I would not want to live anywhere but the Midwest.
North Carolina's not my birth state, New York is. I just live in NC. Even if i was still in NY, I'd voted NC.
