The top 10 are all Southern states. What does that suggest? Do you think that the hot and humid weather common to that region keep people inside? Some of those states also have the highest obesity rates. The 2 factors: poor diet and lack of activity mean high health risks.

That's what I was thinking too plus they deep fry everything lol, but I was surprised to see New York, Arizona, and Florida on this list.
I do think the weather is a factor on why they are lazy and the obesity rate.
Yet lots of these states are considered some of the healthiest. This is why you don't take these type of list serious.
