Houston is one of the BEST cities I have lived in. Here is my rank order:

Houston (Great inner city neighborhoods of River Oaks, Montrose, Heights, MidTown, Museum District, and nations best suburbs including Sugar Land, The Woodlands, Kingwood)
Seattle
San Francisco
Berkeley
Phoenix
Fresno
Oakland

Miami is a very racist place, both for Blacks and Whites. The Latins there have a distinctively rude attitude that does not exist in any other latin community I have been in. Interestingly enough, the Latino community where I live is very well educated, classy, and usually friendly, and were talking a half an hour away.IT seems more like a half a world away. I mean dont get me wrong, I love living in South Florida, it is really just LIVING in MIAMI that is hell.

Houston is a nice place! It is pretty sprawl-y but there is much to be offered there in the way of entertainment and overall quality of life. I do not know how someone can call it the worst in the country without seeing what it is like in (the real) Miami or Detroit!

orlando, FL

...surprised nobody has mentioned this one yet. and i think it's the 4th most visited metro area in the country, which is pathetic... has nothing to offer besides a few severely overrated theme parks.

Do not know how it can get worse than that! I nominate for both the city, and Miami-Dade county as a metro. I do not think South Florida as a whole is horiffic, even if it sucks in a lot of ways (I live one county up from Miami-dade), but Miami-Dade is.
Yeah, but you don't have to shovel SNOW in Miami!
