Going to the North West? (areas, cities, travel)

Hi, I'm travelling to the Northwest.

First Portland, then Seattle, Vancouver, Calgary, SLC, and finally Boise. All in about a week and a half.

Any suggestions on what do in these areas and such.

BTW, I am not just talking about the cities pretty much the whole state.

I am flying in a small cessna plane with my dad.
