It's absolutely true. Two brothers who have moved away to apparent "greener pastures", both back within a few years. I know many people at local colleges who were skeptical coming here, but now love it (Rochester). Consistently ranked as a top place to raise a family.

Cheap home prices, great school districts, educated population, no traffic to speak of, endless outdoor activities.

A few more sunny days and I would consider moving to Rochester. Much better than numerous places in the Southeast for sure.

I'll give you that, though the summers are beautiful. December through March is a bit tough to get through.
