Having a good credit history and FICO score appears to be so much more important now then ever...

Just want to advise everyone that

1- Many insurance companies now are using your credit to determine rates - I do not know if all do but I have Nationwide and I know they do.

2-Many utilities are now reporting late payments and no payment if goes into collection.

everyone is looking at mortage rates, equity ratres insurance and ither costs etc

Somethings think are not a inexpensive as we think and our credit, not the area, sometimes plays a role

I just got a quote on homeowner's insurance from Travelers Insurance (Geico) and the woman told me she needed to do a prelim check on my credit in order to give me accurate rates.
