When people on the forums or elsewhere talk about mexicans in the US it's always about the illegals...It's pretty unfair no ? So let's talk about successful mexican-americans (actors, singers, sports, business, politics...).Honesty I don't know many of them, except Antonio Villaraigosa (LA mayor), Eva Longoria (actress, Desperate Housewives) or the San Antonio mayor (a potential contender for Texas governor).

I would imagine the "most richest" can probably write proper English... I'd also like to imagine that there are more successful Americans of Hispanic descent are probably businessmen, not necessarily comedians or actresses.

The San Antonio mayor can hardly tie his shoes, I don't see him making any successful run at Governor. Besides, he has just begun his political career, he is not even all that well known in the Areas around SA, so I don't see him running for Governor anytime soon.

Mario Lopez I would think.... He's gotta be filthy rich (he's been active nonstop since the early 90s,) he's very well known, and he's also model-good looking.

That list doesn't have citations for anyone who matters aside from a few pictures, which include new mexico's governor, and a few actors/ sports stars. I did find a helpful map on where not to relocate though.

List of Mexican Americans - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Arte Moreno owns the Anaheim Angels, which he bought from Disney.

Ken Salazar is an "old Mexican", as in I think his family might have been here since Mexico was part of Spain, and is in the Cabinet. Actress Eva Longoria is a "Tejano" whose family has been in Texas since before the American Revolution or something like that. Certainly longer than any in my family has been in North America.

Edward James Olmos is a fairly well known actor. This might fit celebrities or business or something better.
