Since the recession started a lot of construction projects were put on hold or cancled all together, so don't share proposed or planned projects. I want to see projects that are under construction right now. What is the most impressive project currently under construction in your city. Include photos if you want.

I'd say the Crosstown Commons reconstruction or the Central Corridor Light Rail projects:

There a lot of Projects going on in Toronto, but the project that I like the most is one outside the city, in the city of Mississauga : The Absolute towers, I think are suppose to be completed this year. Also known as the "Marilyn Monroe Building" because of the curves.

Nice replies. ^^^ That is going to be a great addition to Oklahoma City's skyline.

For Orlando its the Amway Center, the cities new home for the Orlando Magic. It will be the most technological advanced and "greenest" arena in the NBA, when it opens in 15 days.

Venue Information | Amway Center

Check out what is soon to be the largest and most avanced score board in the NBA..

For the Minneapolis - St. Paul area it's the Central Corridor light rail line. The line will connect downtown MPLS., the University of Minnesota, the Midway area (STPL.), the Capitol area (STPL.), and downtown STPL.

The following stadiums/arenas will either have stop or will be within walking distance of the Central Corridor

* Target Field (Twins)
* Target Center (Timberwolves)
* Metrodome (Vikings)
* TCF Bank Stadium (U of M Football)
* Mariucci Arena (U of M Men's Hockey)
* Williams Arena (U of M Basketball)
* Ridder Arena (U of M Women's Hockey)
* Xcel Energy Center (Wild)
* Proposed St. Paul Saints ballpark

Nothing too exciting is going on in my little city of 250K, but here are a couple of projects.

The east side of Tech's football stadium was just completed a few weeks ago, and the capacity is somewhere around 60K now. This picture was probably taken in early summer.

A parking garage with storefronts on the bottom and a sports bar on top with views into the stadium is currently under construction. It would be in the far right of the above picture. I can't find any pictures of it currently, but here is what it will look like.

Haha, these have actually impacted our skyline.

I always liked the architecture of the Texas Tech campus. I love all the red tile roofs.

Dallas has a couple of good ones right now but I chose the Woodall Rodgers Deck Park from the following:

Woodall Rodgers Deck Park
Dart Green & Orange line expansion
Calatrava Bridge
Museum Tower
and the never ending Trinity River Project

The Park
