Actually we've had a 300% increase of bicycle ridership over the past 20 years. 75,000 bike commuters strong! I'm one of em'!
Cars suck, especially SUV's. They are killing the planet and giving children asma.
Well, sometimes you need one, if you live in a very low dense area. LOL
There are alot of unnecessary drivers here in NYC that contribute to poor air quality. We have a huge growing problem of asma cases. We have like 15,000 taxi cabs! The air is just dirty, my window sills get covered with soot after only 2 days.
There is something wrong look at the cleanest they say with population with over 350K and dirtiest 100K they should do the test around the same size cities.
When your the size of your car needs to match the size of your ego... nothing rivals the Hummer.
The Hummer most people know ( not the ones the Arnold has ) , are really just warmed over Tahoe's. nothing special about them, same motor and drive train as standard p/u , Blazer , Tahoe. A Suburban or Yukon XL is larger and can have a bigger engine, than the " fake Hummer ".
I drive a Dodge mega Cab Cummins powered. I get 17 mpg , and , pull a 12,000 trailer when needed for work. I love my Dodge ( plows snow also ) , so , I can justify it.......in my mind anyway.
Tell that to Al Gore and similar bozos who love to go around yelling about Houston being the "most polluted city in the world". Rubbish. I guess that's politics for you, lying is okay if it makes your opponent look bad!
Houston was at one time #1 in the ranking and Los Angeles #2, but just one year. Every year after that Houston has been around 2nd or 3rd, so I'm surprised that it's not even in the top 10 this time.
