For me to live? I am planning on moving soon and I'm confused on where I want to go. These are the states that I am looking into:
-North Carolina
-South Carolina
-Tennessee
-Georgia

Now here is what I am looking for. I want a town with the population of 10,000-100,000. give or take a little is fine. Nice and very charming town and historic downtown area. Nice people. Jobs either in the town or a short commute to a larger area. House wise, I do not like new construction places, I would like to live somewhere with well established neighborhoods with two story houses. (just to include it and help you envision what I want.. I like houses that are two story like i mentioned a second ago, with charm, and looks nice from the outside, with a front porch, and I love the idea of have a white picket fence, so if you know a neighborhood like this feel free to let me know ) price ranges between $150,000-$300,000. Of course, the town has to have a low crime rate, good schools and is family friendly.

If you have a town in mind that fits these description then let me know. Now, if you know of a town that fits these description but arent in the list of states I gave, let me know anyways and I will look into it. Thank you for your time and response

Suggestions for areas to investigate in TN
//www.city-data.com/city/Jonesborough-Tenn.html very historic, smaller than you specified but just outside Johnson City for an easy commute
//www.city-data.com/city/Kingsport-Tennessee.html somewhat older established city with a lot of community involvement, festivals, etc.
//www.city-data.com/city/Maryville-Tennessee.html on the outskirts of Knoxville
//www.city-data.com/city/Franklin-Tennessee.html on the outskirts of Nashville
//www.city-data.com/city/Cookeville-Tennessee.html fast growing little city with a cute downtown

In Upstate NY, you might like Saratoga Springs, Auburn, Geneva, Canadaigua, Oswego, Corning, Cortland and Rome. There are others I'm sure, but those are some I know of off the top of my head.
