Grew up in NY and currently living in Florida. I'd love to live in NYC if I could afford it, just for cultural diversity and alot of things to do.
I chose North Carolina because I visit my Uncle there often (Franklin) and think it's simply beautifull.
There is no jobs there though.. but then again there are no jobs anywhere right now.
In this list Washington State. I am happy in Columbus for now, but if I was to move it would only be to a place more liberal than here, and it's already pretty liberal here. Washington state has that progressive vibe I seek, the south has changed but I just can't get over the cultural differences there and many places would be moving backward for my liking.
