Well, I don't mind going to college in Alabama, but I would like a change of pace. Does anyone know of a college that is academically challenging but not overwhelming? I'm not a football player, and I like to actually learn the material through research and exploration, but I also don't like my instructors to raise the bar so high that almost no one passes. I love wild eccentric creative expression, and I like things that are challenging and academically stimulating. I'm not a party animal by any means. In fact, some people might even consider me asocial. I also don't have a lot of money. For the past few years, I've been a full-time student living off of financial aid, in fact. Is there a great college for me that's within my reach?
Also, I have family in Texas, so I could move there to go to college.

I think I may have the college for you. Check out Warren Wilson College in western NC, just outside of Asheville.
Wow, Evergreen sounds like an excellent college. They offer interdisciplinary programs and learning through exploration, and tuition is affordable, too. I think I might try to apply. I really like this one! Out-of-state tuition is pretty high, though. I think I'm going to try to apply to it, but I need a scheme to become a resident of Washington State!
