i currently live in Greater Cleveland however recently i have began to consider moving south, perhaps Houston, TX. I am aware that Cleveland is affordable and if you are making in the 40's, life is somewhat good. However, i have done some homework and learned that Houston and Texas are more affrodable than Cleveland and Ohio. Number one reason that makes me believe this is simply because Texas does not have State and local tax. In Ohio, taxes are bursting out the roof!! it is making me upset because citizens are paying all this money in state tax and local tax, but get barely anything in return. All we have here in Cleveland is crapy roads and garbage all over the damn place. I am not trying to trash Cleveland because it truly is great American city!!!! I simply cannot deal with winter and would like to relocate! If anyone could give me some pointers about Houston or their opinions relating to the topic, i would truly appreciate it.
