Not to copy Gnutella's thread but I do feel many people on CD make assumptions on cities they have never been to or just visited for a couple of days. To me visiting for a couple of days or even worse taking opinions from people on CD as their base for judging cities is never the correct way of getting to know a city. My only criteria for your list would be cities you have lived in for atleast 6 months.
Corona, CA
Riverside, CA
Rancho Cucamonga, CA (right around six months)
Ridgecrest, CA
Aurora, CO
Denver, CO
I lived in Anaheim and Santa Ana, CA before the age of 2, each for more than six months. Even though I don't recall living in either of them, I feel that I have a more-than-basic understanding of them.
I also lived in Spokane, WA for a little over 4 months, and I feel like I know it well enough.
