Police calls: Girl takes 77-year-old woman's $10, brings no groceries

600 block of Johns Avenue, Mansfield -- A 77-year-old female told police she agreed to give a girl $10 to go to the store for her Wednesday. The girl never returned with the money or the groceries.

Floral Gardens, 74 Lexington Ave., Mansfield -- An employee reported a 51-year-old woman sitting by the building Tuesday morning. Police charged the woman with intoxication.

Mansfield -- Forty-year-old Richard Homhik of 889 Woodville Road, No. 30, was arrested on two felony passing bad checks warrants Tuesday morning.

UMADAOP, 406 Bowman St., Mansfield -- Three metal locks, worth $100, were cut at the vacant property.
600 block of McPherson St., Mansfield -- Police were told a girl was sexually assaulted by a 51-year-old man.

600 block of Oak St., Mansfield -- A 23-year-old man reported Tuesday evening clothes, worth $75, and CDs, worth $36, were stolen.

300 block of Park Avenue West, Mansfield -- A 33-year-old woman told police Tuesday evening her boyfriend, a 45-year-old man, took a cell phone, worth $20, and two televisions, worth $200.

Mid-Ohio Heart Clinic, 680 Park Avenue West, Mansfield -- A 44-year-old woman reported Tuesday evening the theft of her rear license plates from her 2002 Chrysler Town and Country van.

200 block of North Brookwood Way, Mansfield -- A 52-year-old man said he loaned his car to a 21-year-old woman Wednesday but when she returned, his laptop was missing.

700 block of King Street, Mansfield -- A 27-year-old man said a Ford Focus parked on the street Wednesday was missing.

Duke and Duchess, 1020 National Parkway, Mansfield -- A cashier reported gas worth $11.02 was not paid for.

Minnich Manufacturing, 277 N. Main St., Mansfield -- Three vending machines were reported damaged at the business Tuesday morning.

Police calls: Man chases boy with weed whacker

400 block of McPherson Street, Mansfield -- Police charged a 30-year-old man Saturday with assault after he chased an 11-year-old boy with a weed whacker.

100 block of Arthur Avenue, Mansfield -- A 28-year-old man told police Friday a man walking near his property with a group of juveniles punched him.

200 block of West Fifth Street, Mansfield -- Police issued summonses for curfew violations Friday to two boys, ages 14 and 15, and their mothers.

100 block of Buckeye Ave., Mansfield -- Police jailed a 27-year-old man early Saturday morning and charged him with drunkeness after a bachelor's party.

200 block of East Fourth Street, Mansfield -- Police charged an 18-year-old woman Saturday with drunkeness, assault and underage consumption when they responded to a report of a large fight.
400 block of Springmill Street, Mansfield -- Police issued summonses to two boys, ages 14 and 17, for curfew violations Saturday.

6700 block of Greenfield Drive, Mansfield -- A resident Saturday told police someone damaged his cast iron light post, worth $600.

100 block of South Foster Street, Mansfield -- A woman told police her 16-year-old daughter had run away Saturday.

300 block of Newman Street, Mansfield -- An 18-year-old man Saturday reported a case of identity theft.

100 block of Arthur Avenue, Mansfield -- Police Saturday charged a 51-year-old man with possession of crack and possession of drug paraphernalia.

200 block of West Third Street, Mansfield -- A resident reported to police Saturday a 15-year-old girl was unruly.

Sturges Avenue and Ohio Street, Mansfield--While police had under arrest a 19-year-old man Saturday on a warrant, they asked him if he had any contraband in the vehicle. They found marijuana on the floor behind the driver's seat and he was then charged with possession of marijuana.
