Any Clevelanders who've moved down to NC/SC? We are planning a move to either Raleigh, Charlotte (North or South of city), and Charleston (suberbs) I'd love to hear what you think we are looking for a community similar to Hinckley/or Concord on the east side. We want to be close enough to the city to enjoy dinners concerts etc. but far enough outside of it that we can have a big yard, privacy, and lower taxes. Excellent schools are a must! Thanks

Not familiar with Cleveland, but I'm familiar with the Carolina cities as a native South Carolinian and a former (and hopefully returning) resident of Charlotte, NC. A lot of transplants to the Charleston area choose Summerville and Mount Pleasant (the latter is a little closer to the city). In metro Charlotte, they choose Fort Mill, SC just across the state line which has some of the best schools in the region and lower SC taxes; or they choose the Union County towns (Waxhaw, Weddington) which also have great schools. In Raleigh, it seems that a lot choose Cary.

Hope this helps! To get more detailed information, I suggest you pose these questions in these cities' respective subforums.
