What are some small towns you've been to outside the traditionally Hispanic areas of the SW and Florida that have large Hispanic/ Latino populations?
One that surprised me is Monroe North Carolina, population 30,000; located just outside Charlotte. As of 2009 it is 30% Latino.
Funny story: I recently stayed at the Super 8 motel in Monroe. On Sunday morning I looked out my window and saw a bus with "Banda Azul Tequilla" painted on it. Googled them, they just played a concert in Monroe!

I was recently in Lawrence visiting a friend (who ironically is Irish/Italian). Very interesting place. Seems it has fallen on hard times but I could tell it was once a bustling little city.
In addition to Allentown, PA there is nearby Reading, PA with a population of 88,000 with 58.2% being Hispanic.
