It would probably be easier to just list the states I haven't been to yet:

Oregon
Montana
North Dakota
South Dakota
Iowa
Wisconsin

Only connected through an airport and never left the building, so I'm not counting those yet either:

Michigan
Minnesota

Of the 42 states I've been to, I think I've stayed at least one night in each and have lived in 5 of them.

Not sure which state will be my last, maybe Iowa or one of the Dakotas, hard to say?

Every state east of the Mississippi but Delaware. I've also been to NE, SD, MN, IA, MO, KS.

Colorado is on the radar. Maybe California or the PNW next year.

States I've been to:
California
Nevada
Oregon
Washington
Montana
Idaho
Wyoming
Utah
Arizona
Colorado
South Dakota

States I want to visit:
Maine
Hawaii
Alaska
Tennessee

The funny thing is that in May of 2016 I'd only been to two states, California and Nevada in my entire life. Then we decided we wanted to move and ended up in Wyoming in November of 2016. Since then and now we've been to all the rest of the states on my list. In fact today we drove to Idaho and back for some shopping. We're crossing over into Idaho or Utah at least once a month, usually more. Lol

I have been to 25 plus one District (won't name them all). These are the top six I haven't been to that I most want to visit:

Michigan (planning to go next year with some friends)
Wisconsin
Minnesota
Idaho
Oregon
Maine

Eventually I hope to make it to them all!

Visited Alaska about 2 years ago and it was the last on my list. (Lucky enough to have visited Hawaii around the turn of the century on a surprisingly economical trip - stayed at an Ohana right on the beach of a wealthy dentist from Chicago who were away for an unexpected funeral - lucked out) **Edit, that didn't sound very nice, I mean it was advantageous for me in that I had more privacy.***

Lived in RI, CA, FL, TX, WY and NH. Some of the states I've only driven through, such as Delaware and Maryland, but I want to drive around in a Class B or other nomadic vehicle in a few years and spend more time in these different places. Give me a map and a vehicle to use it with and I'm happy as a pig in **** "What is around the next corner????" "I'll find out!" is my motto.
