Depends, when and where you went in the NWT.

Nunavut was created in 1999, up until then it was part of the NWT.

Well yes, it was in 97 I think., and The NWT included Nunavut. I went to Yellowknife, took the ferry across the McKenzie river ( now there is a bridge ). Fort Simpson ( was scheduled to fly over to heritage Park but weather was bad ). Hay River , territorial prison , old town/ Yellowknife. 800 miles of gravel rd in the rain back to the Alaska Highway.

I'd like to visit: any of the one I haven't been to, really.

I made this post on September 1, 2012. Since that time, I can add North Carolina and South Carolina to the list.

I've been to 50 of the 53 that I consider to be states, as there are a few that I don't count and a couple that I've taken the liberty to add.

Next up; Filmore and East Filmore

Thinking I'd like to plan a big road trip to take in the Great Lakes sometime and knock out four out of five in one trip stopping in Minneapolis, Fargo, Duluth & north shore of Lake Superior, Apostle Islands/Bayfield, WI, & the UP of Michigan.

Not sure how I'd plan Arkansas which is a bit of an outlier. Kinda wish I clipped it in with some of the neighboring states I'd been to while going cross country. Not the kind of place I'd want to fly to just to get another state collected, but I've never seen the Ozarks and I hear Eureka Springs is interesting.
A US 2 roadtrip would be a good idea for those states. That is something I want to do fairly shortly.

I haven't been to the Pacific Northwest, the Rocky Mountain states, and most of the Northern Plains states.

States I want to visit:
Colorado
Wyoming
Washington State (Mt. Rainier is a must for me)
Idaho
Wisconsin
Hope to get to Alaska and Hawaii too. They are more toward the bottom of my list though.

I have been out west:
California
Nevada
Arizona (I guess Arizona is a Rocky Mountain State!)

For me, I have a lot of ground to cover!
