Well if your a democrat, no you would lose 6 seats (well maybe as little as 4 2 repubs 1 from mass 1 from NH)
IF your a republican yes you would gain on the Dems.
But it would be complicated cause the states have all differant laws, like in Mass you have to waer a helmet in NH you dont,=. IN Maine there are restirctions on certain kinds of Fish, in Mass there isnt (cause of the open atlantic to the south) ect.

I don't know. I really don't see any reason why the states in the New England region should merge. But I think that having gone this long as is, I think they should just stay this way. If they are all merged, than who knows what kind of problems could happen. So I think they should just stay seperate, as it is.

No. In fact, I think larger states should break up. New York could be four states, for example.
