Idaho has always appealed to me but I've never been there so couldn't put it in my Top 5 or even consider it.

Of the 33 states I've been to and not including any of the 3 (MD, NY, TN) I've already lived in:

1. New Hampshire
2. Maine
3. Utah
4. West Virginia
5. Pennsylvania

I like Texas a lot but couldn't take the heat. It's also why I'd rule out every state on the Gulf of Mexico. Nothing wrong with them, just too hot.
