Interesting. i could have used this when I was trying to explain to Kidphilly that the Urban area of Houston Extended from Galveston County (almost to Galveston Island) to The Woodlands. Looks more cohesive than I thought. The area really filled out in the last decade. In 2000 the UA didn't go far past the City itself.

I found it to be a fast and informative link to get information quickly without searching and keyboarding.

IF you zoom in on individual states you can then find data on EVERY individual census tract.......much more fun and far easier using the maps to find population and demographic data.

Cool site. Interesting to know that NW Arkansas has grown so much I had no idea the combined population of Washington and Benton Counties has grown to 424,404...no wonder traffic has gotten insane here.
