Does anyone know where I can find an extensive list of census pop figures for US cities in 1960? I have a list through a report on the Census' website with the top 100 cities, but also want something larger, such as all cities with population greater than 50,000 or 100,000.

Also, does anyone know if there were changes made to Census procedures between 1960 and 1970? In searching on NHGIS, I found 1960 labeled "Historical Census". Thank you.

I found this Bureau of the Census document. While the subject is city employment, if you scroll down to page 8, there is a list of every U.S. city sorted by state that had a population of 50,000+ in the 1960 Census.

I hope this helps.

Thank you. Is there an Excel version of this available, or any other Excel file with similar information?
