West Texas is like the Southwest: generally dry, cold winters, windy at the elevations and plateaus, but also scalding hot in the summers.

I havent found any not hot places in the usa,its either dry n hot or humid n hot.or you live in the mountains and deal with the cold.dont feel bad im trying to figure out where to live myself,i live in phoenix,its wages dont match the cost of living here.people come here from california and think 250.000 is cheap for a home.locals dont make squat for wages unless your very educated and lucky.
