A lot less Senate representation for a lot of people with that one.
The senate is the big stumbling block to anything that involves splitting or merging. New England goes from 12 to 2 under one suggestion, but California or Texas go from 2 to 6 or 8 under some other suggestions. Neither idea is likely for this reason alone. There is the potential, though for some border adjustments, but outright mergers will never happen.
I just want Georgia's northern border to have that 1 mile northward that was supposed to be ours, that would help with the droughts significantly with nickajack and other bodies of water (hell, just give us Chattanooga it's more like GA anyways).
I think Texas. It is too big and it confuses some trying to pigeon hole it. Maybe cut off from 35. The west part would now be a southwestern state and the east part can be a southern state
How kind of you, we take all of Mexico's water by damming the Colorado River, and then you want to give him all of our crappy land.
Being of Native American background--- you don't have to lecture me about the giving of "crappy" lands, my friend...
But go ahead and try to turn a fun thread into a political one if you want--- A LOT of people do these days. I just don't have to play along with you though, now do I?
georgians need to learn to use their water wisely! i would hate for georgia to get that extra bit of land in the north and ruin the area like they are so fond of doing.

yeah i'm pretty sure we'd use it appropriately.
