The "diversity" is better than it use to be, but Chicago is still living in the 50s in many clannish neighborhood s due to its tainted history and culture being inherited by newer generations. Several books on the subject too.
Ugh...another person bashes one of the most successful and peaceful decades ever for the U.S. There is a difference between "diversity" (which we get much of here in LA) and too much immigrant influence.

So yeah, Boston gets my vote.

I'd be interested to see why Boston is so racist
So you voted based on what (very likely) drunk men were telling you? Smart money. There could have been isolated circumstances and they just needed to complain.

Boston has the longest record of progressiveness for African Americans of any city in the nation and you look at a two to three year period out of almost 400 years of history and declare that "Boston has always been a problem"? How profoundly ignorant.

Most intergrated Major cities.
Also a note, OP I believe severly limited the choices, for example Dallas, DC, SF/Oakland, Philly, Atlanta ect. are not on the choices, its the cities that he want us to think stand out as racist cities.

Yes of course there can be racism towards whites. There can be racism towards ANY group. BUT,IMHO (actually there quite a few facts in there also)the difference between Black on White racism, and to a certain extent other groups who are racist towards Whites is American history. Not trying to argue so let me explain. White people have been at the top of the food chain in this country almost from the start. Whites enforced Manifest Destiny, slavery,Jim Crow, etc. The so-called "Founding Fathers" and others of their time saw Whites as superior. Now of course not ALL of them some did believe the Native Americans,Blacks and others should be free to follow their own destiny but they still did not see them as equals. Long story short white men of that era never thought the world would change and it has. Bottom line is that yes even though this was hundreds of years ago they left this generation of white people holding the bag. Personally I don't think a huge majority of whites are racists. But you have to remember that the Civil Rights Movement wasn't that long ago (in terms of history 50 plus years may as well be YESTERDAY)so down here in VA you may have the black store owner who may see the same white Klansman who torched his store in 1960. Whites are a majority in government, the title holders if you will. So yes there is racism towards white but in reality it really can't harm whites the same way white on black racism has hurt blacks and others. And for the record let me put this out there:

1. I DO NOT condone racism of any type. It's against God's laws

2.I DO NOT think the "white man" is keeping me "down"

3.I DO NOT think Jesse and Al are some type of "leaders"

Take care...

Ummmmm....you do realize that you are talking about a SCHOOL bus. Not public transportation. That's what Ms.Parks was fighting for.

"Milwaukee earns dubious distinction of most segregated city in America. The latest census data shows that 90% of the black population in Milwaukee's metro area, which spans four counties, lives on the north side of Milwaukee."

Why are people painting it like it's white people hating other races, when other races display racism towards whites?
