As much as I wish that were true, I'm pretty sure electronic music is not the prevailing music scene in Dallas. If that were true, 106.7 KDL or something similar to it would still exist.

At the clubs, its very much true.

If we want to judge by the radio, Reigional Mexican music is the prevailing music in Dallas.

Not so sure as DC has gone non-black majority for the first time in many years.

"According to the 2010 Census, the population of Washington, D.C. was 50.7% Black or African American, 38.5% White, 3.5% Asian, and 0.3% American Indian. Individuals from other races made up 4.1% of the District's population while individuals from two or more races made up 2.9%.[75] In addition, Hispanics of any race made up 9.1% of the District's population."

Depends what clubs you go to and what type of music you listen to. In my experience with Dallas; electronic is not the dominant music genre in the area.

For Denver it's definitely rock/alternative. The electronic and dubstep presese is large here, too.
