and Des Mois or how ever you spell it, sheez give me a break, whoever made this list is not really that educated on the mid west skylines.

I agree, as far as a river city goes Cincinnati, Pittsburgh and St. Louis probaly have the best skylines you can find. But Des Moines, as small of a city as it is, has a great skyline. You got to give a small city like that credit.

Default KC should be higher!

I'm very surprised Kansas City isn't higher on this list. The KC skyline is much more impressive than almost every other midwestern city other than Chicago of course. Take a look:

Default KC is best

I agree with guitarmas5. Whoever thinks Omaha and Des Moines are even in the same league with KC and St. Louis are crazy. Kansas City is my favorite skyline I've seen so far. Very nice. The plaza is the best shopping district I've ever been to as well.

Kansas city does have a nice skyline, some cities just dont get too much respect on here, it seems like everyone and their mamas on this forum are brainwashed to love San Fran,Seattle,Boston,Chicago and NYC and hate all sun belt cities. WEIRD!

desert sun speaks the truth. of course chicago is much more impressive than every other midwest city. But many other cities have just as much culture, history, and charm...if not more. St. Louis is great, and I left my heart in Kansas City, NOT San Francisco. KC is a great place, one of my personal favorites. Jazz was born in Kansas City, and it has more fountains than any other city in the entire world besides Rome, and more boulevards in the entire world other than Paris. I love it there!!!!
