I live in a suburb of St. Louis. Here, the fire trucks are painted a lime-greenish color. Sounds ugly, but they're actually pretty cool!

The city of St. Louis itself has the normal red trucks.

Someone mentioned white fire trucks... I'm thinking that would look awesome!

Thanks< MsHell! I collect fire truck models and have a couple of H.F.D models in that cool-looking yellow! I really like them!

Most of Denver's are White but some "special unit" are red i believe.
Aurora's are Red.
I think another city in the metro has bright yellow-green but I am not sure.

Firetrucks in St. Louis are normally either red or white...I have seen some black and yellow ones however on occasion. Each district paints their fire-trucks different colors.

The city I live in is serviced by the Los Angeles County Fire Department, and their fire trucks are red.

The neighboring city of Long Beach used to have these trucks painted a yellow/light green color, which I thought was neat looking, but now I think they switched to red.

I should pay more attention... I can't recall seeing a white fire truck, but I'll have to keep my eyes open!

We have a great city, huh??

I know white fire trucks exist here, or did at one point, maybe not anymore, but they are not that numerous. But I have seen many different colored fire trucks here, including several white ones on occasion. That's all I know. Like I said, different districts of St. Louis use different colored fire-trucks...the ones that don't just use the same logo...the ambulances here are very diverse in color. THe white fire-trucks I saw were not completely white...but they were majority white with red splashed mainly over the bottom-half. While their colors are interesting...I really wish used different horns...if I am outside walking by those things and the horns go off near me it just KILLS my ear-drums i hate the noise, it's so bad that I have to cover my ears up and cringe over looking like a complete idiot...very very loud and annoying those horns...as loud as a freight train whistle....THOSE DAMN HORNS I WANT TO KILL THEM ALL:rol leyes: Why couldn't they just have made fire-trucks sound like ice-cream trucks???
