The Delmarva Peninsula should become a state (the eastern shore of Maryland and VA added to Delaware). It's ridiculous to have a tiny portion of VA that's geographically separated from the rest of the state, and has a completely different personality from the rest of the state. The entire Delmarva Peninsula would benefit from having Delaware's tax structure. I could also see Delmarva splitting off from Delaware--the border would be just north of Lewes.
I agree with that, and also give Wilmington,DE to PA.

I think it should be come an entirly new state, not just go to delaware, what a rip off to MD mostly. I would rather The states stay as they are on the Delmarva peninsula, except mabey give the Viriginia portion to maryland
Minnesota could be divided into Northern and Southern Minnesota with the dividng line running along I-94 from Minneapolis to Fargo. The Northern Capitol would be Duluth. If that happened, Northern Wisconsin and the UP of MI would probably join with Northern Minnesota. Why is the UP part of Michigan anyway-it is totally cut off and isolated from the rest of the state. However, the northern parts of all three states do not have the population to support a state-collectively the three may total 500,000 people.

What you say does make sense , from a geography standpoint. However , just getting the UP set up as the 51st state will be a big challenge. Trying to get three states to break up , would be mission imposable.

I guess you've seen on the map that Arlington was originally just that, part of the District that formed the square. Many things in Arlington actually do have a DC address and often 202 area code.
