Waffle House is where I go to get a good breakfast. They also cook a very good hamburger.

You obviously don't speak for everyone, nor your region. Grits and polenta are both popular all over the country, despite you not caring for them.

No I didn't miss it, as I obviously referenced it. And I have seen fried cheese curds in several places around Minneapolis, so no. That is NOT what is always being referenced.

Nice try, though
I couldn't find grits at a restaurant in my area if my life depended on it.

I noticed them on a menu once and it was at a chain place so not local. Perhaps there are grits on menus and I don't notice but they certainly never jump out at me.

I actually ate them that day, cheesy grits. They were okay, kind of tasteless. But I'm sure it was just the way they were prepared.

LOL! Yep, they are extremely popular here.

They are now doing urban, street front locations in Downtown & Midtown ATL.

Ha! That's awesome. I love when chains like this go urban...it's always interesting.
