Do you see more Christmas Lights the past few years, or do you see fewer Christmas lights? Are more people putting up Christmas lights than in the past, or are fewer people putting up Christmas lights compared to the past in your neighborhood/city/area?
I've actually been meaning to drive around town and check them out. Down one of the streets that I grew up on, every single house on the street would have lights. And these were pretty big houses too (3 storeys + attic). Most other neighborhoods were pretty tame. Every other house might have had a few lights with one having the whole house lit up like a galaxy.
In my current neighborhood, a few houses have some nice lights but then again half of my neighborhood residents are elderly folks. Hopefully I can check out my old neighborhood before the holiday season passes and see if they still have as much as I remember.
Seems like there are fewer lights up this year than in the past.
At least at this point. Maybe people are waiting til closer to Christmas
to turn them on...I'll hopefully get the rest of mine up next week, and on by the 20th.

Miami Beach used to light its palm trees up and down Lincoln Rd. I was beautiful. In the last couple of years it's been dwindlling to the point where there's practically nothing except where Lincoln Rd meets Washington Ave. It's pretty pathetic. I am guessing this is due to budget. It's quite laborious to put up all those lights and labor=money.
So far, it does seem to have increased over last year.
