New York has the most critical fans Boston the most loudmouthed. Tampa Bay the most unloyal. Green Bay the most loyal (and they throw great tailgates). But Philadelphia Eagle fans are sadistically insane (at least on their own turf).
Its pretty clear that Philadelphia is a difficult place to play.
The fans there are passionate, turn out regularly, and are very knowledgable-----that being said, when things go south, they voice their displeasure very quickly.
One of amusing images I still have is when Richie Allen spelled out boo in the dirt around first base years ago.
Baltimore fans. Pittsburgh Steelers' fans have told me Ravens fans have threatened their lives at football games. I also think Baltimore is the most critical of their own, because even though the Raven's are 10-4, we still complain about them not being good enough.
