Ohio: nerdiest state claim based on highest number of library visits per capita (6.9) (yay home-state!)
Hawaii-cost of living (surprise surprise)
Alaska-suicide
Colorado-cocaine
Texas-high school dropouts
Vermont-infertility
West Virginia-heart attach

Air pollution eh? Doesn't shock me at all, in fact I live in the most air polluted metropolitan area in the US. Lovely...
Northern California isn't as bad.
The ones about Texas and Oregon don't surprise me at all.

Mass has a high rate of accidents but a low rate of accident mortality. It probably has to do with roads of Eastern Mass not being as open as road elsewhere in the nation and the slower speeds needed to navigate them.

Boston is known for having the worst roads, and that's probably why Massachusetts is considered having the worst drivers. Not saying this thing is accurate, but that could be a big factor in how they got their results.

We (Utah) have some other problems.. e.g. highest or nearly highest rate of antidepressant usage, but I think the porn thing is greatly affected by having the youngest population.

I think porn is much more easily obtainable on streets of cities of other states. I think many people in Utah may also be a bit more reserved about buying the stuff, not wanting the wrong neighbors to see. Mail order is a great alternative.
