Seattle doesn't really have four seasons. There are wet and dry seasons. Somewhat mild to cold, but nothing all that drastic. At least not until you travel to Eastern Washington.
Seattle has changing leaves and many blooms during autumn and spring respectively. I feel that constitutes as 4 seasons.
Architecture would not factor highly into any of these options. However, if you place greatest priority on the natural beauty of the surrounding environment, you could not go wrong with Stanley, Idaho; Bozeman, Montana; Telluride, Aspen, or Ridgway, Colorado.

These places are all gorgeous. I think Skaneateles & Cazenovia are my favorites of the bunch!
No real winter in either place. Similar cities in look to NOLA is Charleston, SC or Savannah, GA. Neither of those have 'real' winter, either, but it does snow there some.
It snowed in Savannah Christmas 1989 and then a dusting in Feb. 2010.
I was there and it's more like "snows when the moon is blue."
Savannah is great for 2 seasons... summer and almost summer.
