.
I can't think of any place name that is its state spelled backwards, except Omaha's famous Aksarben race track. I think the name of Saxet Lake in Texas was recently changed to something else.

The northernmost casino in Nevada is located in Elko County in a CDP called Jackpot.
Carson City, Nevada’s capital, is closer by road to Boise ID, Eugene OR, and Los Angeles than it is to Boulder City, also in Nevada.
Indeed, Jackpot has the furthest north casino in Nevada, right at the Idaho border. It is called Cactus Pete's, (complete with a hotel and outdoor concerts), but there are a couple of other smaller casinos across the street. Most of the visitors come from Southern Idaho, not Nevada.

Using Google Maps I can find at least two Casinos that are father North then Cactus Jacks, and that is including Cactus Jack's parking lot. Jackpot is not even on the state line, like most of the other state line clubs in Nevada are. It's about a mile south of the Idaho border.

I believe the Say Win casino is closed. As for Jackpot, Cactus Jacks is right across the street from Pony Express, so we are splitting hairs here.

I drove by the Say When just a couple weekends ago, it is definitely closer to the state line than anything in Jackpot, but yes, the pandemic put it under way back last spring. I'm guessing it will reopen, probably with new owners.

The US county containing the highest number of Native American reservations isn’t in New Mexico, Arizona or Oklahoma. It’s San Diego County, CA, with 18.

Cactus Pete’s not Cactus jacks. Correcting my earlier post.

One of the populated Florida Keys is ironically named No Name Key.

Those are all north of Atlantic City, too, by about 150 miles. Reno is nearly the same latitude as Atlantic City.
