Just a quick question: I'm going on vacation to the us and Canada in July and August. We're going to fly to Boston and drive around the east coast for a while before heading to Canada. Because we're from a visa waiver country (Netherlands) we only have to pay the 14$ visa waiver fee to enter America. I was wondering if we are allowed to cross the border by car into Canada and back again 2 weeks later into the us again.
So first of all, ignore stupid people. Second, you should call the Canadian consulate for accurate advice about border crossing requirements in your situation. I had to call them a bunch when I was moving to Alaska, and most of them are super friendly and helpful.
I suggest you post your question on the Legal Immigration forum.
