That is true in any predominantly labeled "retirement state". You see this in Florida and S. Carolina especially beach or resort areas, will not have decent wages because there is little infrastructure.

Also good to know if you want to open a gift shoppe or restaurant going towards retirement, you have to know the demographics before starting a business as your employees and success will stem from the local resources, or lack thereof.

We have alot more RTW states now too, which isnt good for those young people relocating and looking for decent employment.
