Merry Christmas!

I thought it'd be particularly festive to start a thread about Christmas lights. What cities have the best public displays? What neighborhoods are most competitive and obsessed? What landmarks are most amazingly transformed?

Does one city reign above the rest?

I've never traveled all over the USA just to look at Christmas lights, but I have noticed that, locally, light displays are reduced every year. I expect because of the high cost of the electric bill.

Rates are going up 10-15% or even more every year.

I see more of the blow-up Christmas yard art: Santas and snowmen, and every year, more and more reports of yard decorations being stolen.

South Philly is the best! There are such great individual displays as well as lights strung across the streets, connecting the homes:
