It goes over 100 quite a lot in the summer, and people are very tolerant of that, nobody minds the heat all that much. A lot of people smoke pot pretty freely here, there is quite a bit of tolerance for that. The high school football teams always suck, but this is pretty much a baseball town, so people are pretty tolerant of the lousy football.

Tolerant of what? Radio advertising? People who can't stay within their own lanes while driving? Soap operas? Termites?

Good question.

I'm a pretty tolerant person but I draw the line at termites. I don't want any of them coming into my neighborhood and thinking they're going to settle in and have little termite families. No. Not happening.

You welcome the termites and next thing you know the carpenter ants are looking at houses and asking about the schools.

I see your point. I should've been more clear. I meant to say tolerance in relation to race, religion, sexual preference etc. Sorry for the confusion everyone.

I was walking home from a bar a few minutes ago and some guys told me that if there wasn't a cop car passing by they would beat my white ass. Ah, racial utopia, here we come.

Lol not really the midwest is very tolorant unless your living in the plains like Nebraska or Kansas.
Indianapolis is very tolorant of other people and cultures.
Also very tolorant and accepting of other peoples religions too.
Heck the Islamic Society of North America is HQed in Plainfield which is a suburb.
Plus ill take having a 45% lower cost of living and taxes and a better economy
and i dont have to deal with hell every morning with traffic and smog. Illegal immigrants arent a problem here and inmates arent being released from jail due to massive overcrowding. Best yet is im not near the immoral disgrace land known as Hollywood.
Plus i dont have to worry about earthquakes or tsunamis
Crime is one major reason though why i wouldnt want to be near LA or Chicago. Way to many Gang problems.
