Hi Ross
My wife is British (Bedfordshire) and we've lived in numerous places in the U.S. I would say that there are virtually no "enclaves" of Brits anywhere. There seem to be *some* in almost any sizeable city, but no large numbers or enclaves in any one place.
Enclaves develop because immigrants can't meld into the dominant culture, or aren't allowed to, and thusly are pushed off into a section together. English/British people are typically white and English-speaking, and therefore they have an easier time melding into your basic American life more easily than dark-skinned, non-English speaking immigrants do.
I can't think of any English enclaves either. There's not really any "Little Londons" or "Britishtowns" as there are other ethnic groups. Like mead though, I have heard that a good number of Brits migrate to Florida, particularly the Orlando and Miami areas. I doubt they ever form a sizable chunk of any one community, but they are likely a higher proportion of the population there than most places in this country.
Manhattan also has a good number of Brits, not concentrated in any one area, largely those who work for multinational corporations and are transferred here for a few years before heading back to London.
In Bayridge, Brooklyn, there are mini Irish enclaves.
