Funnest Small City/Town in your State

I think that Plattsburgh is a sleeper due to its proximity to Montreal, the Adirondacks(including resort towns in Lake Placid and Saranac Lake), Burlington VT and it is on Lake Champlain too. There is a 4 year and community college there, as well as some nightlife.

Here's information on each of these places: Glens Falls is full of things to do, delicious restaurants, and numerous places to shop for everyone in your family or friends.

Jessica, you need to keep your schedule flexible if you want to ski in Gatlinburg. It's very weather dependant. But lodgings are plentiful in the winter. The mountains are wonderful year round, wildflowers are best in april, rhododendrons in late june/july.

If you want a 20something bar scene book a night in downtown Knoxville.
