I grew up in Australia. To my knowledge, few of the people I was good friends with actually remained in Australia. I have one good friend who moved to India, another to Korea, a couple to the UAE, a few to areas in South America (Argentina, Chile and Peru as far as I know), and quite a large number moved to the UK. There's also a few that have moved to Canada.

Only a small handful of my former friends have remained in Australia.

As far as I know, only one other girl that I knew in High School and myself are residing in the United States.

I'm not sure if it's the demographic I was raised in which compelled us all to go so far afield in the 12+ years since leaving school or whether it's just more in the nature of Australians to reside abroad if they've got the means and opportunity.

From Raleigh, NC. I'm moving to texas this December hopefully. Most people I know after school stayed in North Carolina a few have moved to Charlotte. Atlanta, New York. A couple to California and Texas and a couple to Seattle. Also to no one to the Midwest. I think if there is not an ocean in reasonable proximity all bets are off.

I grew up in a town of about 20,000 in East Central Indiana. Most of us wound up in Indy or Cincy. A handful went to Chicago, and I can think of 3 who made their way to Minneapolis, and 3 to Austin. Beyond that, it's kind of a mixed bag. Several stuck around town to run family farms etc. Indy was definitely the biggest draw though. Oddly enough, I can't think of anyone from my class who went to the coasts, although several I attended school with did.

I grew up in NY and a lot of people from my childhood, up until now, have moved around everywhere. I know people who have moved to North Carolina, New Jersey and the states around.

I grew up in Dallas. As far as I know, most of the people I graduated with stayed in Texas. Most stayed in the Dallas area. A few I know of moved to other places, like various cities in California, Chicago, New York, St Louis. Really I haven't kept up with enough of them to know for sure.

Grew up roughly halfway between Columbia and Charleston, SC and those who have moved have mainly been split between Columbia, Charlotte, and Atlanta.

Grew up near Nashville and I'd say 99% of the people I knew in high school still live in the same town. They seem to love it; I didn't.

Grew up near Buffalo NY.
The majority of my classmates that moved away from WNY went to North Carolina from what I can gather. A few wound up in TX like me. A couple went to NYC. Most stayed in or around WNY

I'm near Cleveland, OH.

If you want to leave Cleveland but want to stay in Ohio, most will move to Columbus. Many of my classmates did. Other classmates have gone to Chicago and North Carolina. A few went out West, but most either stayed in Ohio, went to Chicago, or if warmer, North Carolina.
