So, I was just on a thread where some Californians were talking about how other cities are "narnian" in their need to compare to NYC & LA.

What i find so funny is that Californians are the very definition of narnian, constantly trying to compete in categories that are truly laughable to northeasterners.

What i don't get is how Californians can't be satisfied with what you do have? For example, you guys have amazing natural scenery, beautiful women, relaxed lifestyles etc. When it comes to this stuff, you guys have the east beat hands down.

What you DON'T have is fast paced city life, culture, sophistication, powerful institutions etc. Your entire state's economic output is matched by NYC alone lol. I'm not one of those people who thinks these attributes are all that important, but it's just funny how Californians are so afraid to admit that their state lacks these things.

(Some of you suggested i make a thread for this so that's what im doing)

The Peoples Republic of Californiastan is the perfect example of what not to do as a state.
What kind of laws NOT to pass
What kind of politicians NOT to elect
The Best way to drive businesses out? ask California cause they will be a 3rd world country at the rate they are driving out businesses.
As Indiana and many other states including Texas poach jobs from California you gotta wonder what got California into this mess? hmm maybe the Socialist they elect into office/democrats for 30 years can answer that question.
California is the biggest state in the nation yet it has the 2nd highest unemployment rate.
The Unemployed in California will have to relocate to find employment cause i honestly dont see any real hope to get California back to pre-recession employment. 11% unemployment is the new normal in California.

Also FYI i welcome California Businesses to Indiana with open arms as do many Hoosiers here.

Honestly, I'm not in the minority on this site when I say this, but I believe we should kick California out of the United States.

Given that in the last 20 years, over 3.6 million native born American Californians have left, along with millions of dollars and plenty of businesses, to be replaced by people who provide nothing to American society is appalling.

They'll come back with saying something like "yeah..but we have movies, tech, and 13% of the US GDP" however, most of that money is made because you do business with us. If all of a sudden, we ALL collectively stop spending money in California, stop doing business with California based businesses, stop buying California made products including produce, then the state will get the message.

I for one will support a boycott of California.

Underwater California homeowners to get more help

OUR Federal Dollars are already being used to bail out California homeowners. If this continues, I will write to my congressman to cut off such funding or face the wrath of the American voter in 6 months.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

These responses prove my point. Everything but the northeast in America is hick. It's that simple.
