I have friends from Syracuse and Watertown (upstate New York for those of you unfamiliar with the relevant geography) who have told me about Oneida Lake. I will have to make it up there next time i'm in CNY.
I really do not know where we are going to go this year with the exception of a planned mini-trip to Philadelphia. Since, I have already been to the beach several times this year, and will probably go more than a few times in the summer, I do not see the point to go to another beach area far away. We do it sometimes, just to go away from home. But personally, I would rather see something completely different like the mountains.
I agree with ABQConvict --- where is Rhode Island? Rhode Island is pretty popular for folks from Connecticut and also to folks from Massachusetts and New York who want to try out something different from their own beaches.
probably be a bunch of daytrips to the lakes region of NH for this guy.
