I think you mean Vidor, TX. There's a thread about it in the Texas forum.

Montana is actually a really good option to consider. It's 90% white.

Portland, Oregon is crazy white. Stat wise it is only 77% white but if you live there you will mostly only see white people everywhere. You know a place isn't diverse when everyone has to tell you how diverse it is.

Is his question really much different than someone looking to live in "chinatown", "little italy" or any other ethnic area? he is seeking to live among his own ethnicity, not much different than many other conversations on this board. Would you pose the same question to someone that said "I'm looking for an area dense in people of Arabic decent, I can't take living among these SUV driving soccer moms anymore?"

To show that you're serious, why don't you share with us why you've chosen Bentonville as an option over the other cities in Fayetteville-Springdale-Rogers metro?

Northern CA is full of redneck logging towns, not that I would relish the thought of someone like the OP staying in CA. Texas seems like a better dumping-ground for his type. If it's good enough for Bush, it should suit our OP.

His "own ethnicity" is everywhere. What's the big deal? Chinatowns were created by law as part of the Chinese exclusionary laws back in the 1800's. Living in them wasn't voluntary. Once the laws were repealed Asians chose the same neighborhoods as Whites to live in. On any other forum dealing with geography and relocation issues, this Op would be considered a troll post. I'm just curious to know where the OP got the idea that his post would be tolerated on C-D. I notice he's new.
