On a serious note, I love to hear the word Soda, because it helps me start a conversation with people, as I am in sales. You know what kind of aggrevates me? I hate it when Im in the drive thru and I ask for 3 diet cokes (like this is going to make me thinner) and they say... IS pepsi oK? In our Family, we refer to any Cola product as Coke. I wonder if anybody else does this?

Oh, If only I could've just paid the toll in one lump sump when I turned onto the exit ramp, that would've saved me a lot of time.
They're turning I-80 through PA into a toll road as well, so be prepared for an even more expensive trip through the Keystone State!

You know, I drove on I-80 last year most of the way, and I could have sworn I paid a toll. Even I-476 was a toll road! Honestly though, my forecast is only more of these will crop up across the country as we use less gasoline. It'll be a combination of that and higher plate costs. In fact, I wouldn't be one bit surprised if I ever hear about the 10 and the 5 going toll in California. (Last sentence modified for our West Coast friends )

Ohio invented the "pop" can. Might have something to do with it. Pop has the largest geographical territory ha.

For the same reason everyone else in the country doesn't, of course! I learned that when I moved out to Cali. 6 1/2 years later when I moved back to Maryland I gave up trying not to say THE 95 or THE 295 or THE 100 - which is not how you label Maryland's freeways; you call them I-95 or just 95. I'm stuck in the THE habit and it ain't goin' away!

Tell that to the Pacific Northwest, the northern Midwest, and the vast majority of Canada bud.

Art1979, I-80 in Ohio, Indiana and some of IL are tolled but PA is still free.

BOT; I had friends who lived in SoCal and he knew the freeways ONLY by name while his wife knew them ONLY by number. Riding with them was interesting, to say the least. They're divorced now...

I use that same pronunciation as well.
