You know, the more I think about it. Despite what I said earlier, I really do think I say 'root' more than I say rowt. It is funny how one can think they know how they speak, but then for a couple of days I thought about it, and every time I referred to a 'route', I said 'root'. So there you have it.

And yes, think it would be an interesting class. I know that PBS did a special a couple years back called Do You Speak American | PBS I watched when it came out and enjoyed it quite a bit.
